Possible November theme?
« on: October 27, 2009, 20:04 »
Theme for the November protest, in light of the French court decisions?

Would judge's robes and wigs be good wear for the next caek festival? The theme - Judgment Day!!!

'til then;
wynot

I like this!  Do halloween costume places have judge outfits?

How about a courtroom cake, with little tables with defendants and prosecutors? Or OOH! OOH! A cake shaped like an open law book! YEAH!

Sorry, wynot, but we can only change the already planned cake with Lolita's permission, because we've already promised to do her suggestion.  We didn't promise anything about themes or outfits, though.   ;)

I sent her a link to this thread, however, so when/if she comes over here, you can ask.

Do you know where I can get a French flag...?

I propose that this next protest be themed "Viva la France!" aka "Party Hard 2009" aka "France convicted you of fraud and we're gonna celebrate and tell the public about this news!" etc.

Try this site: http://www.flagco.com/flags/worldflags/france/index.shtml. They are in Acworth, Ga., so shipping time should be short...

We sell some judge like stuff at my work right now for costuming. (Gavels, etc.)  I think I also still have my highschool graduation robes which could double as judge robes. xD;  They are fugly purple however.  It shouldn't be too hard to find robes at thrift stores and such though as people grow tired of keeping them.

I like the idea of the cult being brought to justice!    A mock trial anyone?

Also would some like to post the details of the protest on all the websites please?   Info is Nov 14th 1:30-4:30 Justice for the Cult  or as lt would have it:1337 - 420

I was thinking of being cheap and either painting over the marker one we have, or gluing paper over "on trial for" and replacing it with "CONVICTED OF"

I think it would look GREAT is the "on trial for" was visibly crossed out, with "CONVICTED" in a different color above or below it.

Also, thanks wynot for the link. Not sure if buying a French flag (what else would I use it for), but considering SOME show of support!

Now France has 3(!!!) things that I love about it:

French Fries
Daft Punk
doesn't take BS from a cult like Scientology!
