Candlelight vigil for Lisa McPherson
« on: December 05, 2009, 21:44 »
Several of us gathered outside the org on North Shallowford tonight to hold a candlelight vigil for Lisa McPherson.  A short impromptu speech was delivered, and we observed a few moments of silence.

Lisa died after being held for 17 days in the Fort Harrison Hotel in Clearwater, Florida, being treated with "the tech."  She was pronounced dead on arrival at the Morton Plant Hospital, 45 minutes away from the Fort Harrison Hotel, after being driven past 2 hospitals so she could be seen at a hospital with a scientology doctor.  She had dropped 40 pounds over the 17-day period.

There is more information at http://www.lisamcpherson.org/ , which has been updated recently with new information that has just surfaced this year.  Even with the new information, this story is still far from being told in its entirety.  There is also information at http://www.lisafiles.com/ .

Rest in Peace, Lisa.
You haven't been forgotten.

It's not all of what happened at the vigil, but someone passed along a video of one of the speeches.
