James Randi - former magician and famous debunker

Recent news that Randi has been banned from YouTube - he doesn't deserve this
http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2009/03/youtube_has_banned_the_james_r.php

I thought that you might find these 2 examples to be interesting:

James Randi exposes Uri Geller and Peter Popoff

James Randi explains homeopathy

James Randi reports that there was no Nazareth in the 1st Century
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSzQC1zKesU&feature=channel_page

There is more on other topics... and you can look it up.
Have fun.

Randi is a hoot, and apparently a good friend of Penn & Teller, who are also skeptics who denounce "bovine excrement" when they see it (hence their cable TV show, Bullshit).

I wonder if any OTs have ever considered demonstrating their power over MEST in order to win the million bucks Randi has on offer for any proof of paranormal / supernatural powers. You'd think that million bucks would help out the good ol' CoS, amirite? Or the OT--assuming s/he is not an OT8 and that s/he has already bought multiple copies of the Basics over and over and wants something new and shiny to waste money on--might want to buy more auditing and crap to speed them over that Bridge.

Come on, OT peeps: call up Randi, arrange a meeting, demonstrate your powers over MEST, win a million bucks! Shut up all those pesky critics once and for all, and profit!

:D

OT powers and traffic intersections

http://www.forum.exscn.net/showthread.php?p=25372&highlight=traffic+coordination#post25372

Alan Walter (RIP) had a response to something like this (on ESMB awhile back). He corroborated what I had to say.

I described what coordinated intersections are (usually they are nearby 8 phase quad intersections) and Alan says how he took advantage of this fact sometimes.

Anyway, you can read it there. It's funny. (Scroll up to read the whole conversation.)
