'BATTLEFIELD EARTH' TOPS THE RAZZIE FOUNDATION'S 'WORST OF THE DECADE' AWARDS - iFMagazine

THE SKINNY: In celebration of their 30th anniversay, the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation (aka "The Razzies") has announced their Worst of the Decade awards.

Topping the list, to what should be no one's surprise, is the adaptation of L. Ron Hubbard's BATTLEFIELD EARTH for Worst Film of the Decade. The joke of a film has been nominated for 10 Razzie awards in the past and laid claim to 8. Take that, Scientology.

Well deserved, I should say. I believe it beat out "The Hottie and the Nottie," featuring thespian wonder Paris Hilton.

Remember, it was 20 years in the making and a lot of money was thrown into promoting it, and it still bombed...even with Scientologists forced to watch it over and over and over....
