I am going to add these names, with caution about a few:

Other deaths at the facility include those of 28-year-old Kaysie Dianne Werninck, who died in March 2009; 52-year-old Jean Lafitte, who died in January 2009; 53-year-old Fred Oesterreicher, who died in April 2007; and 44-year-old Sharon Charlene Nederlander, who died in February 2005, according to state medical examiner reports.

We don't know the circumstances of the deaths of:
Jean Lafitte
Fred Oesterreicher
Sharon Charlene Nederlander

If anyone can find out or tell us more about these people, it would be nice.

These are some details I have collected which may help. I didn't find anything on the circumstances of some of their deaths, but got some obits and dates. The info is in a genealogy program just to keep it straight, so b.=born, d.=death, sp.=spouse. etc.

I should have mentioned earlier but here is the info I was told a while back by an insider :

'Freddy died of a heart attack. He looked about 10 years older than his age, I was told. He was a grounds maintenance person there and was often cranky but well loved by staff and students. had done a lot of damage to himself ( previously ) as a heroin addict from New Mexico.  He was slow and stubborn, but mostly adored by staff.  By all accounts I've heard he was not using drugs or anything.'

Sandly, Jean Lafitte killed himself on the Narconon campus on or around New Year's Eve 2009  ... His body was found by Derry Hallmark, a single gunshot wound to the head.  He was in his 50's and had worked there for about ten years.  Happened ( a couple of years) after he divorced another staff member, who had posted a picture of her new boyfriend (whom she's now married to) on her Facebook page saying "now that's a real man"... (He was despondent still, I was told. A previous girlfriend had committed suicide many years before.)

That ex is Dena Bowman DannaSue Pruitt of Narconon Arrowhead staff.

'Sharon ( Nederlander), however, is a different story.  She is from money.  I believe the Nederlanders own(ed) a part of the Staples Center in L.A. at one point, although that could have been a myth.  I believe she was good friends with a prominent Scn family, though I am not sure who, just that Celebrity Centre was involved in some way.  Sharon was working at Arrowhead and booking radio interviews for people.  One day she came up missing.  Michael Anzalone was sent to go find her when her family called and said she had been in a hotel.  He got to the hotel and found her dead, where she apparently drank herself to death."

Her mother is Charlene Saunders Nederlander married to James M Nederlander, the Chairman of Nederlander Organization. They married in 1969 so not sure if Sharon and her sister Kristina Gustafson Nederlander took on the Nederlander name, were birthed out of wedlock or adopted by Nederlander.

In any event, not a word on the internet about her death. As if she never existed - except that their names are connected via their grandmother's online obituaries.

She was once married to a guy in the business named Harrison Freed http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0293111/   They divorced but I don't know when. He took a break from the business from 2004-2006 according to his website, so maybe they were going through tough times before she came to NN AH.

She apparently graduated the NN program and stayed on, helping Arrowhead with it's radio ads and interviews and such when she went off the wagon.
Very sad. She was a seemingly talented person when she left the film industry.

Another name to add to the list is a young man named Greg Wisner.  He was a student at Chilocco when I met him.  His family disconnected from him as he did not share the same belief in Sin-tology that he did.

Thank you, BMF, I'll try to get the details to add it to the list in the first post, like date, Narconon branch, etc.

Unfortunately, I've also just read about another one we don't have on the list, in Italy in 2002.

Melendugno investigating the mysterious death at Narconon
La Repubblica, Italy
11 October 2002

A case of ill (delayed) treated peritonitis killed a woman at the community

LECCE - Maybe Federica, 33, could have been saved; the former drug addict fell ill at the Narconon Community in Torre dell'Orso, at Meledugno, and later died at the Vito Fazzi Hospital in Lecce. What killed her, says the autopsy, was a peritonitis. Drugs are not implied at all in the problems that have led to an attempted murder after her death: in fact, one of the community guests assaulted and stabbed an employee who did not sufficiently help the woman, and maybe underestimated her symptoms, according to the assaulter.

That pain was due to peritonitis: so says the autopsy of the woman, perfomed yesterday by the forensic [examiner] Alberto Tortorella, on behalf of the investigating magistrate of the Court of Lecce, Imerio Tramis. According to a first reconstruction, the woman was assisted at the therapeutical community at Torre dell'Orso by an employee of the facility, Rodolfo Savino, 45 of Mesagne, and driven to the hospital, where she died. Now it has to be determined what kind of assistance Federica got before arriving comatose at the emergency room of Vito Fazzi Hospital, on Monday.

According to first reports, the woman began to suffer stomach pain on Monday; she was driven to the first aid station in Meledugno where she was administered some painkillers, to no avail. Her state worsened during the night and she was driven to the hospital, where she died soon after her admission. The investigating magistrate ordered an autopsy to clarify the causes of her death.
The day after, the community employee who assisted the woman, Rodolfo Savino, was stabbed in the abdomen by Giovanni Costa, 32, who, before the assault, wrote a letter to his fellows urging them to hold out and go on with the program to its end. Costa was hold by Carabinieri soon after the assault, and was jailed with the charge of attempted murder. Savino will recover in 10 days.

Sigh...  I was hoping I wouldn't have to add any more, but at least these are old ones that we just didn't have on the list, and not new ones.

Found a bit more on Jocelyn Dorfmann at Wikipedia, while looking up "Frederica".

County Court of Dijon: judgment of January 9, 1987 (No 118-87)
The assistant director of the Narconon center in Grancey-sur-Ource (near Dijon) was convicted of lack of assistance to a person in danger and the Narconon center was closed.

Report of LA COMMISSION D'ENQUÊTE SUR LES SECTES (Board of Inquiry into Cults)

Quote
--- Translation --- The County Court of Dijon, in addition, was brought, in a judgement of January 9, 1987 (No 118-87), to condemn the director-assistant of the Narconon center of Grangey- on-Ource for nonassistance to someone in danger. This center, created by the Church of Scientology, proposes detoxification by applying the methods of Ron Hubbard, namely the procedure of "purification," based mainly on several hours of sauna per day, "auditions," and a significant absorption of vitamins. In this case, the victim had been in long-term treatment for epilepsy and had addressed this organization because she wished "to be released from drugs." The center A, without preliminary medical examination, placed her in a "weaning" room. However, the medical experts showed that her death was due to "an epileptic seizure due to the absence of sufficient treatment at its beginning and of emergency treatment during the seizure." The judgement does not leave any doubt about the responsibility of the center: "That if Jocelyne Dorfmann had made the decision to reduce her consumption of medication, then to stop it with the risk of compromising her health, the defendants had not at any time prevented it of the need for a medical examination of admission, which would have probably made it possible to contra-indicate the cure of weaning; that it is inconceivable that the victim could be accepted without this examination and serious treatment in spite of her declarations as to her health and her epilepsy, whereas the defendants admitted knowing that in the event of serious illness, medical treatment was not to suffer from interruption; "That if at the time the first crisis occurred, the defendants could mistake its exact nature, the repetition of the crises and their increasing intensity were to evoke to them an origin distinct from a state of lack which, according to medical experts, cannot be confused with an epileptic state; "That they did not consider it useful to directly ask the victim, while she was still conscious, if these demonstrations could correspond to the epileptic fits to which she had referred or to call upon the nearest doctor (...)""

some more deaths that i thought of relating to NNAH.

1.  Cory Erving- son of Julius Erving aka Dr J.   Cory drowned after losing control of his car and going into a lake.  He graduate the program a week or so before.  They say no drugs were involved, but i suspect he was drunk after speaking with his family.

2.  I cant for the life of me remember the guys name, but he od'd on heroin the day after he graduated.  Left 4 beautiful daughters and his wife behind.  Nick something.

3.  I remember Gary Smith saying something about a couple native americans that were beaten to death after leaving the program.  Again, names slip my mind.

AND this ^^^ is very important information indeed. I know of several who died shortly
after leaving NN. As a Graduate Officer, I cringed at sending patients back to the same
drug infested environment from which they came from. I pleaded with Executives to have
a half-way house or other place that patients could go to, but I was laughed at.

They would just drop the patient off at the airport, not stay with them until boarding, and
the poor soul would end up drunk in the airport bar ,...., GGGrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

A month or so later, with a check in hand, they returned for a repair. OTHERS DIED!!!

True, if you count those who have passed shortly after graduating the numbers would be very high indeed.

We need to count them.  I noticed in the protest video at GA the guys yelling that 15 people died since 1985 or something.  Worldwide thats not that alarming of a stat and more than likely way less than most others facilities.  Theres a section in the nn ah archives for deceased students.  We need that list.  I think there is at least 10-15 in mich alone.  And thats only since their inception.  AH has substantially more.

Where do you mean?

I would include any other councilor o.d.'s and suicides, also.

Based on what I've seen on Ripoff Report and elsewhere, those statistics for the Michigan-related Narconons is not surprising.

Don't be. The church does the same thing.
