Yesterday, NFIB named as its Oregon state director Jan Meekcoms, executive Vice President in the Portland office of Parkbridge Capital Group. Parkbridge, a real estate investment and brokerage firm founded by her husband Lee, specializes in RV and mobile home parks.
According to the bio NFIB released, Meekcoms twice served on the finance committee of former U.S. Sen. Gordon Smith (R-Pendleton) and won the title of “Miss Wool” for both Oregon and Washington.
Meekcoms is also active in the Church of Scientology, and has served as an advisory board member at Columbia Academy, a West Linn school which uses a curriculum designed by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
