Narconon is morphing
« on: March 24, 2010, 21:38 »
Not only does Narconon appear to be selling their materials and practices to other types of detoxes, they are apparently changing the name of some of their own centers.

From an anonymous poster on WWP:

Quote
Narconon Warner Springs located at 35025 Highway 79 in Warner Springs, California is currently working with their assigned field analyst to change their name to Sunshine Summit Lodge. In addition, Narconon Southern California, Inc., has changed their name to Huntington Harbor House and has relocated from 1810 West Ocean Front in Newport Beach, California to 17123 Roundhill Drive in Huntington Beach, California.

Pursuant to your previous request, the License Number for Sunshine Summit Lodge is 370087AN and Huntington Harbor House is 300077AN.

People are really gonna have to learn to recognize the outward signs now, instead of memorizing names.

They are getting even sneakier, which I was not sure was possible.

Dianetics/Scientology. Science/Religion. Guardian's Office/OSA. Fair Game/Policy continues, but is no longer to be called 'Fair Game. Dessert Topping/Floor Wax.

They have always been this sneaky. They will stay sneaky because they have no choice. Their evil is so obvious to anyone who looks closely, that they must always pretend to change away from it, to keep the public from seeing through their lies.

'til next time;

I wonder if this has any bearing on the name change:

WARNER SPRINGS - The County Department of Environmental Health has issued a Boil Water Order and for the Narconon drug-rehab facility in Warner Springs.

The drinking water system tested present for total coliform bacteria. Total coliform bacteria can come from soils and other sources in the environment and can indicate a problem with the water supply system. The Boil Water Order was issued to ensure all water used is free from contamination. The Boil Water Order will remain in effect until the distribution system has been disinfected and additional samples confirm the absence of bacteria in the water supply.  E-coli was not found to be present.

The ultimate authority must always rest with the individual's own reason and critical analysis.

More old news on water contamination at Warner Springs (for preservation, since the sandiego6 story is 404).

Sounds like this is separate one - the date on it is after the date the first story was posted.

WARNER SPRINGS ---- A boil water order was issued Wednesday for a drug and alcohol treatment center at 35025 Highway 79, which is served by the Narconon Water System in Warner Springs, county health officials said.

Tests showed that there was total coliform bacteria in the water system, officials said. The boil water order will be in effect until the water system is disinfected and additional tests confirm that it is free from the bacteria, officials said.

Adding a Wayback Machine link for the former San Diego 6 link above, since it has become relevant again:
