Notiying the local community
« on: April 03, 2009, 09:10 »
I think it very prudent we activists contact some of the local churches immediately around the proposed Ideal Org location.

Here is an article from the Sandy Springs Reporter of a church and the city actually working hand in hand. Something that C of S IMO can never do.

http://sandysprings.lps2.com/Articles-c-2009-04-02-155769.113118_Church_opens_shelter_for_day_laborers.html

The shelter is less than 1/2 mile from the proposed Ideal Org.

As i am a practicing catholic, i will interface with the above entity. Make them aware of the C of S situation. May be i can even do a little volunteer work.

A shelter like that is something scientology will never do, either.

I emailed my pastor about this and the Methodist radio pastor, Dr. Allen Hunt,  about it also.
