I used to listen to Rush and Boortz out of a misguided "know thy enemy" kind of mission, but got so annoyed by the outright lies they told that it made it difficult for me to be around conservatives who merely had a different idea about politics and were NOT raving nutbag hypocrite liars.

Since a lot of my relatives and some friends are conservative politically, this was not going to make for harmonious co-existence, so I quit listening to the asshats and now I feel much more open to hearing the "other side's" point of view, when it is backed up by data and facts. Neither major political party is without sin, so to speak, so neither should be busily lobbing stones around.

That said, I'm so liberal, I appear to be a lovely shade of pink in the right light.

Good to see that Anonsparrow is no longer alone. Radio Paul's pictures of Lisa McPherson seem to have made quite the impact at the DC org.

I enjoyed reading this old thread and thought it was the perfect place to put these AnonSparrow updates.

For those who may be unaware, Sparrow was acquitted of charges of stalking and wearing a mask to intimidate.

As countless videos bear witness, Sparrow was normally maskless at his solo protests in D.C. As most here know, the mask worn at protests was not intended to intimidate, but to maintain anonymity and protect from fair game practices of the "cough" church.

Although nothing should surprise, something did. CoS embellished their claims against Sparrow to claim that he was stalking with an erection.
 

I really think Moxon and company managed to make complete fools of themselves in more than one way.

Apparently, an ACLU attorney came to observe court proceedings and asked attorneys on both sides for consent to observe. Sparrow's attorney consented. Moxon refused consent and was informed by the ACLU attorney that he asked for permission out of courtesy, not requirement and would stay. For some reason, Moxon thought the ACLU atty might be further impressed by engaging him in a stare down.
