Downsize to mission: it does mean losing an org, though that would be left out of the documentation (because Scientology NEVER loses an org!) but when they finally decide to move into the idle building, they'd be upgrading from a mission to an idle org.

Remain an org: They can try to claim growth forcing them out of the Mt. Vernon building to Dunwoody, out of Dunwoody business center to a MULTIPLE STORY BUILDING OHMIGAWWWWDDDddddd!

It was my impression that whether it is a mission or an org depends on the level of courses offered, and the ownership.  It was my understanding that the CoS of Ga. is an org.

Joscelyn Rieser was born on June 21, 1982, of Mary and Ray Rieser. Since 1987, when she reached age five, Joscelyn has lived in Atlanta with her maternal grandmother Rosalind Miller. The Riesers are divorced, and Mary resides in California. In August 1991, Mary came to Atlanta and announced she was taking nine-year-old Joscelyn back to California.

In September 1984, the parents left the child with grandfather Rieser in order to make a trip to California for several months. Shortly after Thanksgiving in 1984, the father took the child to grandmother Miller without any prearranged plans and left her there. She took care of the child until after Christmas, when the mother returned from California. During that month, the father did not care for the child and visited her infrequently. She cried repeatedly for grandfather Rieser and his wife. Beginning in January 1985, the child began staying with grandmother Miller on the weekends and spending the weekdays with her parents. Her parents separated in 1986, and the father moved to California. He did not see or speak to the child again until the summer of 1989. The mother remained in Atlanta. The parents' 1988 divorce decree makes no provision for the custody or support of the child.

1611 Mt. Vernon Rd. (the org from 1999-2007) is 7000 sq. ft. 
The size of the N. Shallowford space was given in the parking study for the Sandy Springs zoning appeal as 11,500 sq. ft.  The current building size is given as 9,216 sq. ft. with minimum divisible space as 4,608 sq. ft.  So, they went up at N. Shallowford, and now down. 

This does not help their RLUIPA case that they need the extra space at Roswell Rd.  It wouldn't even be believable that they couldn't find a larger space more suited to their space needs, in this economic climate.

Seriously, there should be a price list somewhere for orgs and missions.  10 years ago, the minimum price for the 2 day Dianetics seminar was $50.  On WWP a while ago, there was a 2 day seminar advertised for $50.  Unless Int management has issued an order that reduces the price, the org can get in trouble for unauthorized reduction of price.

Seriously, there should be a price list somewhere for orgs and missions.  10 years ago, the minimum price for the 2 day Dianetics seminar was $50.  On WWP a while ago, there was a 2 day seminar advertised for $50.  Unless Int management has issued an order that reduces the price, the org can get in trouble for unauthorized reduction of price.

I, too, appreciate the feedback and former insider's view.  Looks like right now, they may have bigger trouble than int base.

It would appear the Sunday Service is exactly the same every week, provided anyone actually shows up.  The course they would try to foist onto any raw public after the "sermon" would most likely be the "Ups and Downs in Life" course.

It's a stripped down, baby version of the PTS/SP course for noobs.  It goes over the 12 attributes of the social / anti-social personalities, PTS, disconnection, and the raw meat is also required to do a low gradient version of O/W writeups (confess your "sins" onto paper, without using an e-meter).  This is the simple version, wrere raw meat gets indoctrinated that anyone who opposes scientology is suppressive.

If the Div 6 (noob) course supervisor can successfully get raw meat through the course, complete with convincing the noob to write down in hard copy his "sins", then they have the noob snared into scilon "us against the world" cult way of thinking.
