Some people may have noticed that the OCMB message board has been down, and may have been concerned.

Good people,

Operation Clambake Message Board (http://ocmb.xenu.net/ocmb/) - aka OCMB -
is currently down due to security measures. Dangerous security risks has
been found in the version of the software we use to run OCMB and we've had
to immediately close the whole message board down. We will use this
opportunity to try to upgrade to the latest version of the software -
which is long overdue and we apologize for that!

Time estimate: First possible solution at the earliest Thursday evening
(GMT) this week. Longer time will be required if we meet unforeseen
challenges.

As most of you know, OCMB has refused new accounts for a very long time
now. Part of the reason was then lack of resources to meet the growing
demand and the solution for that was to upgrade to newer versions that
hopefully could reduce the workload. It was always the plan to open OCMB
again, but unrelated life issues has made it very difficult for us to live
up to our ambition. Again; we can only apologize to those of you who found
value in OCMB during all those years.

This unpredicted event has now forced us to do something, which might
hopefully lead to OCMB again being open to new members. I will keep you
posted!

 OCMB is now back on line. Sanity has returned to the net. Depending on your your idea of sanity is!
