Myth help
« on: September 10, 2009, 16:13 »
Adam Savage of Mythbusters was at Dragon*Con.  A couple of the people there with us were talking about asking him whether they'd ever investigate the myths surrounding Scientology's E-meter.  Sadly, the line was too long and out friend who went up was ultimately turned away with the rest of the line.

So I made a thread on the Mythbusters forum.

http://community.discovery.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=6941912904&f=9701967776&m=74219356201&r=98219356201#98219356201

I would like some advice, if no one else wants to post there, about how to present the device and make it seems (scientifically) worth investigating.

I've mentioned can squeezing affecting readings, tomato auditing (more how they give a different reading when poked with a nail), and claimed effects of lithium.

So I will appreciate any input I can give in that thread.
