A record of Annie's death was discovered by Karen De La Carriere 7 months after the fact. Sadly, the story of her last few years hearkens back to that of Uwe Stuckenbrock

Apparently, Annie had lung cancer and like Uwe, had been relegated to the RPF for several years. Later, as her health failed, she was off-loaded to a nursing home, paid by state and county funds.

When family called to check on her they were told she could not come to the phone, even after her death. Once again, CoS failed to allow family members contact with a dying loved one and in this case, even notify them of her death.

This organization is truly without a heart.

How sad.  Not surprising.

There's one more who won't be able to tell what she knows.

Village Voice ran a nice piece on Ann Tidman today.

Death of a Scientologist: Why Annie Broeker, Famous in the Church, Had to Die ... - Village Voice (blog)
30 January 2012, 8:09 am
By Tony Ortega

Last June, a 55-year-old woman named Ann Tidman died in an apartment in Hollywood.

Her own sisters, who suspected that she was ill, did not learn about Tidman's death until just a few weeks ago. They had tried to get information about her, but Tidman herself -- and the church she belonged to -- wanted as few people as possible to know about her fight with lung cancer.

And that's why we're only finding out now, months after her death, that Ann Tidman died on June 14 in apartment 336 at a complex owned by the Church of Scientology at 1830 N. Bronson Avenue, a block over from the famous Hollywood Celebrity Centre.

For those not in the church, or among its ex-members, Tidman's name may mean little, and her death will probably not be noticed by the mainstream press. But to Scientologists, who tend to call her by another name -- Annie Broeker -- she was a powerful symbol for where their movement had been and where it was going.....

A Trip to Scientology Inc Headquarters

Jim Logan and Sinar Parman recently took a trip to Scientology Headquarters near Hemet California.  Here is Jim's report..

Quote
I went back to Gold.  I was last there in October 1992.  It appeared bigger in memory than it was yesterday. Yesterday it seemed like the buildings had actually shrunk.  There was “more” of the place, with the Castle, the Berthing buildings (I couldn’t see theRTCBuildingor the grotesque Bonnyview from the roadside), but even these seemed to  physically be withdrawn,  actually shrinking back. Not there.  It was just something I noticed even in the real excitement  I felt at returning to this place.  It was a palpable perception of even the building structures themselves pulling back and getting a smaller space.  Of course, I’ve had a lot of auditing in the past few years too, plus some really extensive study so maybe my viewpoint has shifted a bit.

I had the intention of returning there for the salutary act of Confront, Reach and Withdraw on the spaces that I was forbidden to be in, but, prior to that prohibition, had put so much of my own life and free theta, and my literal blood, sweat and tears, into creating.

I also wanted to bring a simple bouquet of flowers for the memory of my wife Annie and our life we created there, and in honor of the dedication and devotion of her own to a purpose we both embrace.....
