Narconon Alberta Closed?
« on: October 15, 2013, 00:35 »
I was checking Narconon International's site for any other recent changes and clicked on their link for Narconon Alberta in Calgary, but the site (narcononalberta[dot]com) is gone.  Then I checked to see if maybe they just had another site somewhere and found that narcononcalgary[dot]com is also gone.

I was once contacted by the woman who ran that small (four beds) center out of her home.  She had asked me to rebuild her website back in 2009 or so.  I saw her in the elevator at Flag.  I wound up being too busy with other projects and refunded her money.  She was pissed, despite my giving her referrals to other experienced people who could rebuild her site.

It wouldn't surprise me if she simply got fed up with all the crap surrounding Narconon and decided to do something else.  She may have even left the church, considering the large numbers of people walking away these days.

From David Love, on FB:

"I did visit the Alberta residential, 4-5 bed Narconon about 14 months ago and it seemed dead. The neighbours I talked to had no idea the house next to them was A Scientology drug rehab entity."

Good news. It sounds like this location never really got off the ground.

As far as I know to date, there is NO full operating Narconons in Canada right now?
