I have learned not to leave the backyard gate open as this young deer really loves to munch on the plants.

I love the picture of the turtle on the yellowish-green foliage. Very nice photos.

Is spiky the theme for today?

I found a scorpion in my house today, but I didn't take time to shoot a photo, just got it up in a tall glass and flushed it right down the toilet.  They sink quickly, as soon as they hit the water.   :P

Nice shots, though.  Is the spiky #3 a Queen Anne's Lace bud?

The first photo is of a passion flower in bloom. The flower is approx. 2.5 inches in width. The little bee (Auguchlora Green Metallic Bee) is approx. 1/8 on an inch long.

The second photo is of a caterpillar (Gulf Fritillary) approx. 1/2 inch in length perched on a Passion flower leaf.

The third photo is as another poster has pointed out in fact a Queen Annes lace prior to blooming.

The fourth photo is a cu of a barbed wire fence.

You need a photo of a Datura seed pod to go with your spiky, beautiful, and dangerous series:
