Keeping my fingers crossed for an "Appeal Denied" decision.

With the condition things are in with Narconon of Georgia - insurance and credit card fraud, losing employees left and right, student enrollments declining, and them having no computers at the facility - it wouldn't surprise me in the least in Narconon was a no-show at this hearing.  Would they even notify OSAH (Office of State Administrative Hearings) if they decided to drop the whole thing?

My gut feeling is DM will force them to go through with the appeal. Letting it go will be too much of a 'foot in the door' for taking down other NN's for him to ignore it.

How do you think it would be a foot in the door?  That other states would be more likely to yank licenses?   ???

OMG, if I were Mary Rieser, I would be SO embarrassed to show my face at such an event, after all that's come out in the news since the appeal was started!

Let's just say a "little bird" mentioned at least one state is taking notes on what's going down in Georgia. Although possibly more focused on the credit card/insurance billing issues than the "Residential when not licensed for it" side of things.

I think most of the other Narconons are licensed for residential (although I haven't checked), so that was why I wondered.

I certainly hope more than one other state is making note of the insurance and credit card shenanigans, because as others have said elsewhere, if it's going on here, it's got to be going on at others.
