AnonMomAnon (Laura Flynn) Oh how soon we forget!
« on: May 06, 2014, 01:05 »
Well the epic "Flag Down" event (I know, you probably may not have heard of it) BUT anyone who has been in the fray long enough knows AnonMomAnon (Laura Flynn).

The women is an equal opportunity hater. Be you a cult member or old guard critic this women has been behind more online hate than this poster can point out.

Let us not forget this is the individual who aided in the spamming of Operation ClamBake with pornographic material in order to pander to her small cadre of online anon,s. She alone ran off more well meaning Clearwater protesters than this poster can count.

Her modus operandi being a total hatred of anyone she considers "Old guard" critic,s or those who may think for themselves! Now she has on day one of the "Flag down" event brought unwanted and unnecessary drama to the event.

I said this several years ago, this women was trouble with a capital T, well I for one am GLAD i am NOT attending this event. I,m in Clearwater now and once I heard Laura Flynn had something to do with this event,I decided to pass on going and to be honest I really wanted to meet several of the guest speakers.

Sad that the personal hate she has for fellow critic,s has set a negative tone for the rest of the week.

I hope the drama isn't too much of a distraction from the event.

I hope the drama stays on other forums, and doesn't distract from what's going on here!

Agreed. It was more at least for myself the disappointment factor coming into play. For sometime now and I will include myself that in the past some of us have had at one time or another a "Look at what I did" in regard to his or her activism concerning the topic at hand.

This generally manifests itself when that which the activist is railing against isn't providing the needed or wanted in real life actions that warrant the activists involvement, hence the activist starts to feed on those around them. This leads me to believe some activists would pick a fight with just about anyone concerning just about anything.

If I step back and look at the bigger picture here one would see that within the "Critic" movement a very odd form of celebrity worship at play. Very "Cult like" in nature if you ask me. In all honesty I too at one time was guilty of this sort of "Hey look at what I did" mentality. Fortunately I saw this and put a stop to it. Pretty lame that certain individuals seek minor fame and celebrity status railing against a cult. That is messed up in my opinion.

More chaos for Flag Down as venue changes

The Flag Down conference is going through more upheaval as a new venue will host speakers Friday, and the event’s primary local organizer announces she is washing her hands of the whole thing.

According to the original schedule, Thursday was supposed to feature a beach party with speakers returning to Minnreg Hall in Largo on Friday evening. But this afternoon, a live feed suddenly came on, with Pete Griffiths announcing that Friday night’s program will occur at a Holiday Inn near the beach. Shortly after the live feed began today, local organizer Laura Flynn announced that she was no longer connected to the event.

So what happened? We talked with one of the organizers of the event who is in from out of town.

“John Sweeney was upset that the first night was really unprofessional,” we were told. Sweeney usually uses a video presentation when he speaks, and he was stunned that he couldn’t do that at Minnreg Hall on Monday night.

“He encouraged us to find a better venue,” the organizer says. “Minnreg is just a gym, it’s not really a conference hall. We had to put people on milk crates because the podium was too high. It was embarrassing.”

When the participants came to Clearwater Beach today, two of them went looking for a better venue, and found it at the Holiday Inn. They booked it, and will not return to Minnreg on Friday.

This afternoon, they decided to put on some additional speakers, and asked to use a room at Post Corner Pizza. That’s where the live feed is coming from right now, but we’re told the wifi there has severe problems.

But the organizers are hoping for a much better final night, with Jamie DeWolf and John Sweeney at the Holiday Inn.

“We’re trying to make the last night more professional.”

When we pointed out that Laura Flynn had publicly resigned when tonight’s live feed had begun, the organizer told us, “We were not expecting anything different.”

I am posting here to go on public record that Mark Bunker walked in and I walked out and no interactions with him. My name is on the protest permits for Atl and I discuss things with the police when needed. I will not risk my ability to protest in order to humor the mark bunker show.
The two speakers I heard were outstanding and I learned a lot from them.
I'm posting this wherever I can to make it clear I had zero interaction with him.

One cannot make this stuff up. :D
