I ran into an interesting site tonight... You register your rehab (http://interventionamerica.org/SignUp/signup.cfm -see the bottom left margin) with info you provide; and Narconon Georgia is listed and seems to be claiming "Dual Diagnosis Treatment, Drug Rehab, Alcohol Treatment, Inpatient Drug Rehab, OutPatient, Substance Abuse Treatment, and Residential Treatment" (http://dual-diagnosis-drug-rehab.com/Dual_Diagnosis_Treamtment_facility.cfm?state=GA&city=Norcross&ID=13023).

This is a false claim of Inpatient Rehab and lists them as taking people with co-morbid psychiatric disorders: "What is "Dual Diagnosis"? Dual Diagnosis is the presence of both an addiction to a substance like opiates, meth, alcohol or any other addictive substance and a psychiatric diagnosis like bipolar, PTSD, anxiety disorders or any other psychiatric or emotional disorder." from http://dual-diagnosis-drug-rehab.com/index.cfm

I do not know if this has been previously posted, but thought another instance of false claims might be of interest.

Thank you, who me?  This is interesting, perhaps more interesting than you realize.

Was it on the "Last 10 Phone Numbers Requested" section that you saw Narconon of Georgia?

I wandered back to the interventionamerica listing for nn georgia to see if they changed the listing yet and noticed the POOR rating. ;D
http://interventionamerica.org/Inpatient_Rehab/listing.cfm?Drug_Rehab_ID=13023&Ph
Under the phone number 888-629-3330 they state 24hr mental health services as well. I did not know if the phone number was for NN or for intervetionamerica so I googled the phone number. I got "Ctclg LLC" and also stumbled on a reference to http://www.findrehabnow.com/blog/ which is a referral service/blog that mentions they can find you a successful program with 70% success in the "War on prescriptions..." section. The home page has a search function that actually lists other rehabs. It may be that when you call, you get directed to NN.

Thanks who me?. The dual diagnosis deception was reported to DCH by a whistle-blower, but according to David Cook, they don't investigate fraud. So, we really need individuals who have been victims of this scam to report the fraudulent advertising on the internet to the FTC and ic3.

Before You Submit a Complaint

The Federal Trade Commission, the nation's consumer protection agency, collects complaints about companies, business practices, identity theft, and episodes of violence in the media.

Why: Your complaints can help us detect patterns of wrong-doing, and lead to investigations and prosecutions. The FTC enters all complaints it receives into Consumer Sentinel, a secure online database that is used by thousands of civil and criminal law enforcement authorities worldwide. The FTC does not resolve individual consumer complaints.
