Welcome to Atlanta. Mall security
« on: February 02, 2013, 17:15 »

I actually came across this video while reading a British online media story. Not only do I feel story for the Mall security guy it must really be hard on the business owners. Apparently a fund has been set up to aid the security guy in getting more equipment to do his job. $20,000 so far. Poor guy needs a tank!

The 3:15 mark within the video shows the end result of someone being very stupid. This poor security guy records all the incidents he encounters. He is one brave soul. There are a bunch of his videos up on Youtube.

The 2:26 mark in this second video really gets heated.

Man, I can remember back in the late 70,s downtown ATL being a fun and diverse. Now??

Gotta respect the security guard for taking a stand.  Those drug dealers look like wimps.  The girls are scarier than them.

This is the kind of stuff that just makes me really sad. It's a good thing the security guard keeps the camera and taser on hand. He has a very tough job!

At least they have lights at night.  In some parts of the area where I'm from, its so crappy they turned off the street lights and traffic lights cause the city couldnt pay the bills.  The security guards/crime deterrents there are AK-47's weilded by middle eastern clerks who are 20-30 years old sitting behind bullet proof glass.  They make the rifles visible for all to see.

Its sucks that there is such a distance between the rich and poor.  Theres more than enough of everything to go around.  High society chooses not to though.

Is bullet proof glass one-way, or is it bullet proof from both sides?
