These Narconon Course Books listed on page one are a terrific resource for providing insight to the families of loved ones who have done or are currently doing the program. In them you will learn how the Narconon 'student' is indoctrinated into Scientology

For example, you can read about the Training Routines (TRs) and Objectives drills and courses and see that they are pretty much the same content.

Scientology's TR's & Objectives & Co Audit Course is the equivalent of Narconon Course 1, Therapeutic TR Course, Narconon Course 4a, Communication & Perception Course, and Narconon Course 4b, Communication & Perception Course

The church's Introductory To Scientology Ethics Course is the Scientology equivalent of the Narconon Course 7, Changing Conditions in Life Course

I completely forgot that TR6-9 are referred to as "upper indocs" and aren't usually practiced in the beginnings of Scientology.

However, they are always used in Narconon and students perform these drills.

And the real term for upper indocs are "upper indoctrination" drills. If these are in Narconon then indoctrination into what?

Yes... the Upper Indoc Drills TR 6-9 are done for many early on. They are part of the HQS course ( Hubbard Qualified Scientologist Course ) HQS is the first course done after intro courses, when a beginner is turned into a beginner scientologist. It is now a Division 6 New Public introductory course.

So each Narconon student who completes TRs 5-9 is becoming qualified as a scientologist

How I would love to have a scientologist go over each section of the Hubbard Qualified Scientologist course and explain exactly which parts (TRs, light objectives, basic study, conditions, etc) ARE scientology and which parts aren't.

Since NARCONON claims not to be scientology then I would assume that most of the HQS isn't scientology either.

Eric, FYI, I sent him links to the online ones here months ago.

I always make sure the attorneys have them. I'm working on locating the Scientology equivalents, so if anyone has links to any copies of those course packs, please post them here.

I also send links to these book to the people who have loved ones in the program at the moment, who are concerned and have contacted me for help. Especially the book on Ups and Downs, when disconnection seems on the horizon because of the loved one's open criticism of the program to the student and staff. It's important for them to know what they are up against.

I'm going to post to this thread some information located elsewhere regarding the Training Routines ( TRs ) and Objective Processes aka the Objectives, how they directly connect to Scientology, what they do and don't do, and how in recent time, changes were made to the Objective processes so that students in Scientology and in Narconon are trained in these changes, which include many more hours of doing the processes.

As any former scientologist will tell you, these initial; indoctrinating processes are what sets the foundation for the person to be willing to be on their Bridge To Total Freedom and allow oneself to be controlled by it.

Supposedly there are new course books. I hope to obtain copies and provide the content to readers because I and other critics of Narconon believe people need to be informed. In the meantime, avail yourself of the following information

Here are the two course books used in Narconon, training student to co-audit the Objective Processes
There are supposedly updated but will suffice until we receive updated ones. Note that most of the information will not be changed, as Scientology technology must be used exactly as written by Hubbard. Most likely the practical requirements ( time and use of the processes ) is more direct, precise. Students will still be doing these processes, and perhaps more already existing processes are included in the new version).
