Title: The Calendar and how to get events added to it
Post by: ethercat on April 05, 2013, 10:44
Reaching for the Tipping Point has a calendar now!

You should see a link on the forum menu above, or you can use this link: Reaching For the Tipping Point Calendar (

There are so many things going on with Narconon right now, we can't remember when everything that we don't want to miss is happening.  Hopefully, the calendar will help everyone with that, including our visitors who are not registered members.

If you have an announcement or event you would like to have added to the calendar, post a message in this forum, and we can link your post to a date on the calendar.  You need to include in your post:
If these things are not included, your post will be moved to another appropriate forum.

An event can span as little as one day, or as much as 31 days, and be scheduled as far out at 2020.  Hopefully, we will have defeated Narconon before then.   -0=|

The earliest year is set to 1950, so historical Narconon events can also be added, and the calendar can actually be used as a Narconon timeline, if someone wants to add historic events, such as William Benitez conceiving of Narconon, the opening of Chilocco, etc.

Narconon deaths are included as holidays so they can be shown every year on the anniversary date, and we can remember those unfortunate events as we work to stop more from happening.

Holidays and Events will be shown both on the calendar and at the bottom of the forum index, on the "Upcoming Calendar" section, starting 14 days in advance.

Comments and questions are welcome.

Cross posting this handy list (originally from Wikipedia ( of "holidays" from WWP. I haven't verified any of these.

Additionally, many more anniversaries of notable events in Scientology history are remembered. Examples include

Another poster added this: (
Most of these are fake, invented because religions are supposed to have holidays.

The 5 holidays that are really observed are L. Ron Hubbard's birthday, the Anniversary of Dianetics (to a small degree), the Maiden Voyage Anniversary, the IAS Anniversary and New Years. But the events are held locally a week or two after the date, even New Years.

Thanks, Snippy.  I added Narconon Day and Criminon Day, since they fit the forum's subject of front groups, but I didn't add all the scientology fake holidays.   ;)
