Scientology-Narconon Trois-Rivieres: Physician Banned!

First, I must state that this has NOT been a vexatious crusade to destroy a physician's career,
nor to unfaily tarnish his reputation. It is what it is; a long and labourious journey in seeking truth
and the protection of the vulnerable patients who fall prey to unscrupulous COS practices.

For several years, Narconon Trois-Rivieres Drug Rehab patients, were in the care of a Montreal Doctor who is also a member of the Church of Scientology.

I am not going to mention this Physicians name because there is ongoing investigations and a law suit being filed in Quebec Superior Court for "Medical Malpractice". Other COS Entities could be named in this same law suit for "Practicing Medicine Without a Licence". These proceedings could begin within 45 days.

Congratulations, Intelligence!

This will most likely be the basis for more complaints and investigations to come.

One more big, heavy straw for the camel's back, eh? Or should I say one more tap of the stonecutters hammer?

Nice going!

'til next time;

UPDATE:

College of Physicians Quebec renders discipline decision concerning Narconon Trois-Rivieres physician. No fines or licence suspension, but ban on associating with Narconon stands. "After consulting experts, the College determined that Narconon Trois-Rivieres is treating patients with methods not recognized in current medical literature." Additional investigations are ongoing.

Because the College of Physicians is a private entity and not overseen by government, the Ombudsman can not be called in. However, the inquiry continues into NN TR and other COS entities "Practicing Medicine Without a Licence" is ongoing in Quebec and there is a Formal Complaint against two Physicians in Ontario who participate and promote NN TR and other Narconons.

Because Canada Health and Provincial Health Agencies are responsible financially, I will lobby these agencies.

If these pro Narconon/Purif Rundown physicians are billing our health system for pre-Purif exams, the COS physicians will have to answer to these billings.

Will be contacting politicians who oversee and are responsible for monitoring.

PRESS RELEASE within days.

UPDATE:
"After consulting experts, the College determined that Narconon Trois-Rivieres is treating patients with methods not recognized in current medical literature."

This should be reason enough for Narconon to be shut down.

Rather nebulous however, is the standard of care for drug treatment in the U.S. It's a state-by-state situation in terms of regulations, licensure, and oversight. Add to that, the limited resources some of the states have for providing appropriate oversight and we have a recipe for disaster.

Naturally, Narconon cannot be expected to keep themselves in check or to change when operating off of Scientology's definition of ethics in combination with a blind dedication to Hubbard doctrine.

Thanks for the update, David!

Yes, this should alone, prevent NN TR from being Certified, which will shut it down. I think we can shut all of them down in Canada. There are only three NN's, but I'm going after the ORG Purifs too. We'll see.
