Title: Top of Home Page News Box
Post by: BigBeard on March 02, 2013, 09:26
Since the Desmond case has been settled, could the "News:" box at the top of the home page be cleaned up a bit? And maybe moved below the "New posts since you last visited" area. It's a bit of a pain to have to scroll down half a page to see if there are any new posts because they're off the screen.

Thanks for all the effort being put in to the site, it is making a difference in people's lives.

Yes, I'll do that.  I always go to the "Show unread posts since last visit" at the top left, just to the right of the avatar and username, so I guess I haven't paid much attention to the news box.  I'll get it cleaned up.  Got any suggestions for new news?

Not at the moment, but I could live with a 72pt "Narconon forced to close in the US" headline when it happens.

Thanks for cleaning the 'News' up.

:D  Believe me, when that happens, I'll post it so no one can miss it.  Maybe even make a replacement splash page that sends people on to the forum index after they've had time to take it in.
