Isn't CARF kind of a questionable certification?

Isn't CARF kind of a questionable certification?

Still looking into what CARF actually does. Here is a link to some info on the State of GA and an online search of CARF accredited entities when searching under Detox- inpatient. Detox-Outpatient and Drug court accreditation via whatever CARF goes by standards wise.

Go to the linked page below. Punch in state in search box. Then select programs from the left hand column. Select Detox BH, Detox OTP and Drug court etc. Select filter.

Narconon Arrowhead is the only facility that could pass CARF strict reqs, as long as they have David W Smith and connection to William Kent McGregor.  Frankly, other Narconon's don't even try. They ride on the coat tail of " CARF Certified" , which is deceptive. But they would not pass certification.

Perhaps these will be of help:

I highly doubt they received a letter from CARF stating whart that article says. You can email the person in the 2nd doc above at CARF and ask how to get copies of approval or inspection letters, through FOIA

You're right, they wouldn't pass "CERTIFICATION". CARF only gives "ACCREDITATION", a
far cry from Certification.

Kind of like the Narconon "Certified" Counselors being printed off a 'certificate' from
the Narconon color printer after taking a short scientology course at Narconon.

What a FARCE all of this is!

Absolutely, a farce!

RF is about to get a wee sample of a "Wake-Up" call in the form of Google Searches on CARF
returning a "Complaints Board" complaint about their organization.
