  Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor, Jean found great personal
  satisfaction and fulfillment in his 8 years of service with
  Narconon.
  
  Jean was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Ike and
  Ruth Berwick Lafitte of Beaumont; his maternal grandparents J. R.
  and Nelcine McGee of Houston; his uncles Louis Jean Lafitte of
  Temple and J. R. McGee, Jr. of Houston. He is survived by his
  parents C. Wayne and Nelcine Lafitte of Houston; his sister Dr. H.

  The investigation has expanded to include three other deaths:
  Hillary Holten, 21, who was found dead at Narconon Arrowhead in

'Freddy died of a heart attack. He looked about 10 years older than his age, I was told. He was a grounds maintenance person there and was often cranky but well loved by staff and students. had done a lot of damage to himself ( previously ) as a heroin addict from New Mexico.  He was slow and stubborn, but mostly adored by staff.  By all accounts I've heard he was not using drugs or anything.'

Sandly, Jean Lafitte killed himself on the Narconon campus on or around New Year's Eve 2009  ... His body was found by Derry Hallmark, a single gunshot wound to the head.  He was in his 50's and had worked there for about ten years.  Happened ( a couple of years) after he divorced another staff member, who had posted a picture of her new boyfriend (whom she's now married to) on her Facebook page saying "now that's a real man"... (He was despondent still, I was told. A previous girlfriend had committed suicide many years before.)

That ex is Dena Bowman DannaSue Pruitt of Narconon Arrowhead staff.

'Sharon ( Nederlander), however, is a different story.  She is from money.  I believe the Nederlanders own(ed) a part of the Staples Center in L.A. at one point, although that could have been a myth.  I believe she was good friends with a prominent Scn family, though I am not sure who, just that Celebrity Centre was involved in some way.  Sharon was working at Arrowhead and booking radio interviews for people.  One day she came up missing.  Michael Anzalone was sent to go find her when her family called and said she had been in a hotel.  He got to the hotel and found her dead, where she apparently drank herself to death."

A case of ill (delayed) treated peritonitis killed a woman at the community

LECCE - Maybe Federica, 33, could have been saved; the former drug addict fell ill at the Narconon Community in Torre dell'Orso, at Meledugno, and later died at the Vito Fazzi Hospital in Lecce. What killed her, says the autopsy, was a peritonitis. Drugs are not implied at all in the problems that have led to an attempted murder after her death: in fact, one of the community guests assaulted and stabbed an employee who did not sufficiently help the woman, and maybe underestimated her symptoms, according to the assaulter.

That pain was due to peritonitis: so says the autopsy of the woman, perfomed yesterday by the forensic [examiner] Alberto Tortorella, on behalf of the investigating magistrate of the Court of Lecce, Imerio Tramis. According to a first reconstruction, the woman was assisted at the therapeutical community at Torre dell'Orso by an employee of the facility, Rodolfo Savino, 45 of Mesagne, and driven to the hospital, where she died. Now it has to be determined what kind of assistance Federica got before arriving comatose at the emergency room of Vito Fazzi Hospital, on Monday.

According to first reports, the woman began to suffer stomach pain on Monday; she was driven to the first aid station in Meledugno where she was administered some painkillers, to no avail. Her state worsened during the night and she was driven to the hospital, where she died soon after her admission. The investigating magistrate ordered an autopsy to clarify the causes of her death.
The day after, the community employee who assisted the woman, Rodolfo Savino, was stabbed in the abdomen by Giovanni Costa, 32, who, before the assault, wrote a letter to his fellows urging them to hold out and go on with the program to its end. Costa was hold by Carabinieri soon after the assault, and was jailed with the charge of attempted murder. Savino will recover in 10 days.

Sigh...  I was hoping I wouldn't have to add any more, but at least these are old ones that we just didn't have on the list, and not new ones.

1.  Cory Erving- son of Julius Erving aka Dr J.   Cory drowned after losing control of his car and going into a lake.  He graduate the program a week or so before.  They say no drugs were involved, but i suspect he was drunk after speaking with his family.

2.  I cant for the life of me remember the guys name, but he od'd on heroin the day after he graduated.  Left 4 beautiful daughters and his wife behind.  Nick something.

3.  I remember Gary Smith saying something about a couple native americans that were beaten to death after leaving the program.  Again, names slip my mind.

AND this ^^^ is very important information indeed. I know of several who died shortly
after leaving NN. As a Graduate Officer, I cringed at sending patients back to the same
drug infested environment from which they came from. I pleaded with Executives to have
a half-way house or other place that patients could go to, but I was laughed at.

They would just drop the patient off at the airport, not stay with them until boarding, and
the poor soul would end up drunk in the airport bar ,...., GGGrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

A month or so later, with a check in hand, they returned for a repair. OTHERS DIED!!!
