Massages, haircuts, and scientology? - 3AW (blog)

The Church of Scientology is out for new recruits and is advertising $10 haircuts and massages at their controversial new headquarters in Moonee Ponds.  The event also promises nutrional advice, beauty treatments, and "walking with personal trainers around the neighborhood."  However, there is very little mention of what the religion emcompasses, represents, or even means. This morning Neil Mitchell took up issue with a spokesperson for the Scientology movement about the misleading nature of the promotion.

Interesting; a spokesperson who does not know what the church charges for it's  classes or courses, except for the most basic intro course...

Makes me wonder how much she actually knows about anything scientological! ;)

"When nothing seems to help, I go look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock, perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before."
