Narconon – Patient Medication Withheld

Narconon Trois-Rivieres over-rides physician prescribed medication, to the detriment and suffering of patient.
As I approached the young lady sitting at the Narconon Trois-Rivieres dining room table, I noticed tears rolling down her pain grimaced face. Her obvious pain was disturbing to see as I sat across from her and asked what was wrong. “They won’t give me my pain medication”, she said through blood-shot eyes from hours of crying.

Earlier that day, while standing on the icy Narconon grounds, she fell and fractured her arm in 3-4 places. Eventually, the young lady was taken to Hospital Emergency, where X-Rays confirmed a painful multiple fracture of her forearm. Unfortunately, this Hospital could not operate and “Set” her fracture, and she would have to go to an alternate Hospital the next day for the operation.

The attending physician prescribed, and gave her some strong pain medication to alleviate her painful distress, thus helping her to cope and make it through the night without undue suffering.

But this was not to be; Narconon Staff refused to administer the physician prescribed medication. When I asked why, I was informed that the pain medication would interfere with her “Objectives” part of the Narconon Program. “She cannot do Objectives, if she is taking that pain medication”, I was told.

Apparently, it is Scientology Religious Doctrine Policy, that a person who is on pain medication, may not be Audited in a Scientology Auditing Session. The Narconon Objectives part of the Narconon Trois-Rivieres Program is a Scientology Auditing Process.

To see how much painful distress and agony this young lady was in, was both disturbing and emotionally upsetting to myself and other patients. It was absurd to see such a case as this; a deliberate withholding of a physician prescribed medication that a suffering patient so desperately needed.

Eventually, the next day, after many hours through the long night of agony, the Narconon staff gave her the medication.

This was not an isolated case at Narconon Trois-Rivieres; far from it and the abuses from Executive Scientology Authority, must be held accountable. Not only may these acts of abuse be seen as Human Rights and Freedoms violations, but also seen as the Narconon staff acting as a medical authority, over-riding a physician prescribed medication to alleviate a severe and painful condition.

Émilie Dubreuil, from CBC TV Radio Canada, contacted this patient in late 2009 and the story was confirmed and mentioned in a news article published on July 18, 2010. This same patient was also interviewed on camera by a TV Crew and before airing of the show, the interview video at the TV Station went missing.

Three Ex-Narconon Patients were interviewed for this TV Show and it never was broadcast.

You got that right for sure.  There's another hospital admitance case, due to sauna, in addition to the near death in the withholding of insulin, and many others. Some will be savf for court, some I will write about and post.

Well, in the real world, some things just take precedence over Narconon and Scientology "objectives" now, don't they!  How could she do the program in horrible pain, either?

This blind obedience to the dictates of scientology, narconon, and L. Ron Hubbard is the biggest part of the problem, responsible for probably 95% of the abuses we hear about, and those we don't.  The other part of the problem is the desire for profit gained on the hopes, desires, pain, and agony of people in moments of vulnerability.

I would love to see the media fear and intimidation stop, and let the truth out.

Thanks for posting, David.  You are, without a doubt, Narconon's worst nightmare.   \*/

There is so much more to this to help people understand the entire picture. I have been exposing for 18 months now and only scratched the surface. Someone may ask why a victim doesn't just leave if it's so bad.  It's very difficult to leave; I trif and failed. When the young lady in the above story arrived, I watched as she sat on the ground, not wanting to go into the withdrawal unit. She was crying, but her parents pulled her up off the ground and dragged her in. So here she is; from another Province, and her parents would not help her leave when she asked. The ethics officer plays the con to them. She has no money, doesn't speak french, and good luck trying to get your wallet and ID if you do manage to plan a way of escape. They have every angle of control figured out. For most, once you arrive at NN, they've got you for the duration or at least long enough to eat up your $23,000 at $350, plus this and that per day if they kick a person out. Honestly, I wish I had never heard of scientology or narconon and never gone there, but I did. The entire Expose will take quite some time, but it will be completed, right down into their deepest and darkest secrets and evilness.  I use to use my cell phone voice recorder, to make it easy for diarizing notes later. Some of what the executives said is outright racist and discriminatory. They never stopped. We were in the van one day, driving past a church and the NN President said, "hey Jesus, why don't you come down off that f....kin cross and do something. I was video taping at the time because of all the stuff they were saying. Disgusting and evil!
