Our Clinical Director, Robin Muse LPC, developed training materials for all staff at the NARCONON NEW LIFE DETOXIFICATION PROGRAM and training has begun as of June 18TH 2012. Topics include,but are not limited to: assessing successful behavioral changes during detoxification, providing adequate support to clients and their families and how how detoxification fits in the overall substance abuse strategy for each client
Knowledge level regarding these materials will be tested by our CLINICAL DIRECTOR and CERTIFICATES will be provided to those who pass their exam
About Robin Muse LPCRobin is a licensed therapist with twenty years experience in the social work and counseling fields. She has a genuine concern for children and families who have experienced traumatic events and are seeking relief from their symptoms. Robin is currently working on her Ph.D. in Health Psychology. This field of study explores the mind/body connection in health and well-being. Robin believes in a holistic approach to counseling and psychology and that everyone has the capacity to be healthy and happy. Robin is an experienced mediator and play therapist which enables her to effectively counsel divorcing couples and counsel young children. Traumatology and crisis intervention is an area of special expertise. Robin is available by appointment and will try to accomodate your schedule.
